The facility will be home to a reproductive physiology lab and other specialized programs, such as the turtle head start program and the Amphibian Rescue Centre. The new facility will feature cutting-edge green construction techniques, including an insulated foundation wall and cooling roofing. The centre will also feature LED lighting and native and water-efficient planting. The new facility will be completed in 2016/17.
